All faculty members have books to their credit. In recent years, the Department has published the proceedings of one national seminar in the form of a book in honor of Professor A.R. Kulkarni, entitled “Medieval India: Problems and Possibilities”, published by Rawat0- Publishers. The proceedings of another national seminar, on “Western India in the 18th and 19th centuries”, are in the process of publication. A volume of essays in honor of another former Head of the Department, Dr. A.M. Deshpande, has also been published.
