M.Phil (Scientific Computing)
Eligibility Criteria:
MSc (Scientific Computing) / M.C.S./ M.Sc. Computer Science/ M.Sc. or
equivalent degree in any related area with exposure to Computer Programming.
Mathematics up to S.Y.B.Sc. level desirable.
Courses:
The candidate will undergo three of the courses of M.Sc (Scientific
Computing) Programme as advised by the Departmental Committee, considering
his / her background.
The students can do any course offered by CMS and different departments on
the campus with prior permission from the Director ISSC and the guide
in-charge.
Note:
A student having post graduation other than M.Sc (Scientific Computing) has
to undertake the course SC - 204 Numerical Methods for Scientific Computing
– I and can choose any two courses from the rest.

Eligibility:
55% / B+ at qualifying degree. Admission subjected to availability of the
guide.
Course Lectures:
The course lectures should be attended along with regular M.Sc.(Scientific
Computing) course when the subject opted is offered.
Thesis Work:
M.Phil students should complete their thesis work with any recognized guide
in Scientific Computing within the period specified by University rules.
