Highlights of the Course:

The course covers the basic principles of sensors with their applications and commercial aspects. Furthermore, the possibility of exchanging ideas, experience, and knowledge in the field of sensors is provided. Besides this Centre for Sensor studies is a great opportunity for Networking and socializing to establish interdisciplinary contacts. The Course will cover different type of sensors namely- Nanoparticles-based sensors, Biosensors, Magnetic sensors.


Brief Content of the Course: (Total credits = 6 (Theory – 4, Practical – 2))

• Introduction to Measurements

• Testing and Measuring Instruments

• Basic and Advanced microscopy

• Transducers and Sensor Parameters/ Classification

• Overview of living world and detailed application of Biosensor
