The department admits students from various parts of India as well as abroad. The in-take capacity at entry point (MA Part I) is sixty. Over and above this, the department admits nine (15 % of In-Take) International Students and students from NRI category. Applicants need to send the filled in application with relevant details to the Office of the department directly. After the expiry of the last date, ordinarily within a week, the Admissions Committee displays the list of admitted students at the Notice Board in the Department.
