The Department of Geography, established in 1950, has completed 65 years as a Post-Graduate centre offering courses leading to M. A. and M. Sc. in Geography, M.Sc. in Geoinformatics, P. G. B. Sc. (Applied) in GIS and Remote Sensing, and Ph.D. degree in Geography.
