1. Appoint nominee's on selection committee as per recommendation of competent authority
2. Submission of Selection Committee Reports to the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor for approval.
3. Approving the teacher after verification of all documents.
4. All work replated to Teachers’ approval appointed in affiliated colleges and recognized institutes on CHB/ Ad-hoc/ Regular basis.
5. Appoint nominees for verification of API
6. Appoint nominees on screening-cun-evaluation/Selection Committees for CAS as approved by the competent authority.
7. Approval of CAS committee reports
B) Faculties and Boards : boards@pun.unipune.ac.in
1. Organizing Meetings of Board of Studies.
2. Organizing Meetings of Faculties.
3. Organizing Meetings of the Academic Council.
4. Preparing Agenda, Minutes of above meetings.
5. Appointment of Ad-hoc Board of studies.
6. All other work related to meetings & syllabus.
7. Nominations on Board of Studies and Academic Council of Autonomous Colleges.

C) Research and Recognition : rr@unipune.ac.in
1. Rules regarding recognition as P.G. Teacher, M.Phil. and Ph.D. Guide.
2. Nominations on Research and Recognition Committees of each Boards.
3. Organizing meetings of R&R Committees.
4. Approving the teachers as P.G. Teacher / M.Phil. Guide / Ph.D. Guide as recommended by the R&RC and approved by the Board of Deans.

1. Preparation of Perspective Plan.
2. Publishing advertisement for affiliation / recognition.
3. Accepting proposals for new affiliation / recognition proposals for extension and continuation etc.
4. Scrutiny of proposals, submission to various authorities for permission and submission to Government for approval.
5. Formation of Local Inquiry Committees.
6. Submission of LIC reports before authorities for permission to affiliation / recognition.
7. Issuing affiliation / recognition letters.
8. Follow up regarding annual, permanent & other affiliation fees.
9. Conduct sub committee meetings for above work.
10. Conduct BOD Committee meeting.
11. All other affiliation/ recognition related work.
