The Department has a dedicated team of qualified and experienced teachers committed to excellence in library and information science education and research. At present, there are two permanent faculty members who coordinate the academic and research activities of the Department. In addition,visiting faculty members—comprising senior professionals, academicians, and subject experts -- contribute their expertise in specialized areas such as knowledge organization, bibliometrics, and research methods, Artificial intelligence, basic statistics, etc.

This blend of permanent and visiting faculty ensures academic diversity, practical orientation, and exposure to contemporary trends in the field.
