Mission and Goals
 
To carry out research in the following areas:-
  • Computational materials science.
  • Algorithms : DFT and related topics
  • Electronic structure of : Quantum Dots (QD), Graphene, Homogeneous metal nan-
    oclusters, metal alloy nanoclusters, novel carbon based nanomaterials, II-VI semi-
    conductor QDs and clusters, diluted magnetic semiconductors.
  • Calculation of positron-ion and positron-atom binding energies with the inclusion
    of electron- positron correlation effects using two component DFT.
